Are you a passionate sales executive with a drive for winning new business within automotive?
We are seeking a customer oriented Vice President Sales to drive revenue growth, and cultivate strong customer relationships in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The scope includes full sales responsibility for all commercial activities within Plasman Europe.
You will be a member of the European Management Team and report to Plasman Europe CEO. The position is based at our European Headquarter in Gothenburg.
Vice President Sales - Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee the execution of sales strategies aligned with company objectives to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse sales team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand market presence, and manage key customer and partner relationships to drive business growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales approaches.
- Monitor performance metrics, create detailed sales forecasts, and prepare reports for the executive leadership team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and deliver results.
Qualifications
- Track record from being a member of a leadership team at company level with shared responsibilities for the overall objectives.
- Proven track record (10+ years) in sales leadership roles with demonstrated success within automotive, preferably from Tier 1.
- International experience, working with premium German OEM’s is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience and knowledge of company P&L and Project economics.
- Relevant theoretical education MBA, MSc or similar.
- Experience building, developing, and motivating high-impact sales teams.
- Strong business analytical acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in English is a requirement, German is an advantage.
