We are looking for a Project Launch Engineer to lead key projects, collaborate with skilled professionals, and ensure high-quality tools and processes for our production lines.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage assigned projects in collaboration with colleagues, covering various phases of preparation and execution.
• Discuss and approve tool concepts with suppliers before the start of production.
• Coordinate projects based on provided data regarding the required plastic parts, including design, production volume, and financial expectations.
• Select appropriate tool suppliers and decide on mold concepts and designs.
• Identify suitable injection molding machines for production.
• Supervise mold manufacturing, attend initial mold trials at the tool shop, create feedback lists, and oversee tool modifications.
• Ensure mold testing and commissioning after delivery to the production site; fine-tune the process, material flow, and assembly procedures.
• Organize the production of jigs and fixtures (e.g., tape bonding fixtures, robot gripper heads for part handling).

Required Qualifications

• Experience in tool manufacturing and plastic injection molding processes.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers across different locations.
• Technical knowledge of injection molding tools and mold concepts.
• Basic English skills with a willingness to improve.
• Native-level Czech language proficiency.
