You will take the lead in driving Plasman’s European sites to Climate Neutral Operations and support the North American sites. You will also manage the monthly sustainability KPI reporting and produce and give input to external and internal reports, like the annual sustainability reporting process. You will support the organization with responses to sustainability questionnaires from customers and other stakeholders and respond to ESG rating reports. In this role you will report to Plasman VP Sustainability & Purchasing located in EU Headquarter, Gothenburg Sweden, but the position can be located elsewhere where Plasman have operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Lead Plasman´s ambition of Climate Neutral Operations by 2028 across Europe by working with leadership at sites to design actionable goals, improvement areas, sustainability projects, etc.
• Lead Plasman Europe’s Sustainability data collection and report outs, both internally and externally (including CDP, Ecovadis , SAQ etc)
• Secure compliance and manage sustainability reporting frameworks and regulation such as the CSRD & the EU Taxonomy
• Manage cross-functional sustainability programs across a wide range of topics including scope 1, 2, and 3, waste reduction, reporting compliance, and more.
• Manage projects including coordinating communications with external organizations, reviewing project updates, and updating relevant supporting materials, etc.
• Work closely with our international engineering and R&D teams to support the development of sustainable innovations
• Manage sustainability information and data from suppliers and own production
• Work closely with our EHS coordinators at manufacturing sites
• Secure compliance with regulations and standards within the area, monitor upcoming standards and regulations
• Scope 3 GHG calculations globally, supporting the OEM/ISO requirement for all Transportation and supply chain downstream GHG emissions.
• Collaborate on communication efforts: preparation of quarterly reports, data analysis, summaries, presentations, bench marking, coordinate updates to website

MINIMUM EDUCATION/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree or equivalent in sustainability, environment, chemical or mechanical engineering or similar

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of progressive experience leading and executing corporate sustainability initiatives within a manufacturing sector.
• Experience from international working environment and excellent knowledge of spoken and written English. Other languages can be an asset.
• Expertise within automotive industry is appreciated.
• Strong working knowledge on relevant regulatory frameworks and reporting standards such as GRI Standards, GHG Protocol, SBTi
• Knowledge of EHS related reporting and KPI´s as well as experience from financial and sustainability annual reporting
• Ability to interact with different functions in the company and with external stakeholders in an international environment
• Excellent people leadership skills, both with direct reports and with peers and indirect reports.
